All In And Chop!
Jun 24, '16
We’re getting really close to the end of the day, which means the big stacks are doing everything they can to secure the overnight chip lead and the $1,500 bonus.
On a recent hand, Kristen Kober raised to 6,000 and Randall Price reraised to 21,000. The action folded back to Kober and she announced all in. Price quickly called, creating a 110,000 pot. Whomever won this pot would be a near lock for the overnight chip lead.
Instead, both players turned over A-K and chopped on a drama-free board. Kober is still close to the chip lead, but she’ll need to win a decent sized pot in the final minutes to make it happen.

Kristen Kober Forces Opponent To Make Tough Fold
Jun 24, '16
On a board reading 988KA, a player checked and Kristen Kober shoved for about 50,000 into a pot worth 30,000. Her opponent went deep into the tank after the over-bet.
“I know it’s the only way you could win,” he said, indicating that he was thinking that her massive bet on the river might be a bluff with a busted straight draw.
He eventually decided to fold the J8, which was trip eights on the flop, face-up, and Kober quickly mucked her cards.
She was up to roughly 80,000 after the hand.
