Chris Ferguson Eliminated

Joe Cassidy Calls With Queen-High
In a blind vs. blind battle, Joe Cassidy was faced with a 3,000 chip bet on the river. Cassidy went into the tank and made the call, leaving just 10,000 behind in his stack. His opponent tabled eight-three for just eight high, and Cassidy exposed the Q J for queen-high to take the pot.

Mike Baxter Eliminated
Baxter bet the last of his remaining chips with the 10 10 and was called by the K J of an opponent. The flop was ugly for Baxter as it came K 9 6 . The turn brought the 3 and the K fell on the river, eliminating Baxter.

John Juanda raised to 250 preflop from the cutoff and seat seven made the call under the gun. The flop was dealt A 8 6 and Juanda coyly moved all in, almost laughing to himself as he did it. His opponent predictably mucked and Juanda took down the hand.
In a different hand a flop of Q-J-9-Q-A sat on different table when seat 7 bet 2,700 into a 2,600 pot. Joe Cassidy thought for a moment, and then he decided to move all in as well. His opponent mucked. The pros are using the all-in push to their advantage early today.

Kings For Gregorich
Joe Cassidy put in a raise and Mark Gregorich 3-bet right behind him. Action folded to Cassidy, who made the call. The flop came A J 2 and both players checked. On the 5 turn Cassidy bet 1,600 and was called by Gregorich. Both players checked the 4 river and Cassidy showed K-J for a pair of jacks, but Gregorich rolled over pocket kings to take the pot.

Nguyen Hits Full House to Take Pot From Defending Champ Deeb
Scotty Nguyen bet out on a board of Q 10 8 8 and was raised by defending H.O.R.S.E champion Freddy Deeb. Nguyen called then bet out when the 10 fell on the river. Chen Takes Big Pot
A large pot had been built between Andrew Black and Bill Chen. But when Black called Chen's final bet he quickly mucked as Chen turned over 7-6-5-3-2-8-Q for a 7-low.
Grey Gets Better Cards... Or Worse?
David Grey and Thater both showed a deuce, and Thater bet out when she his an ace for her next card and Grey called with a 5. But when Thater hit a king and Grey hit a 6, Grey bet and Thater mucked. Their hands:

Alex Kravchenko Wins Multi-Way Pot
Jan Von Halle completed the bet on third street with the 2 and both Alex Kravechenko (5 ) and Michael Binger (7 ) called the raise.
Kravchenko: 5 3 4 5 -A Q 5
Binger: 7 6 K 8 - fold
Von Halle: 2 4 6 3 - X-X-X
Jan Von Halle took the betting lead from the start, Kravchenko acting first and betting out with a pair of fives of sixth street. Both Binger and Von Halle made the call. Kravchenko also bet the river where Binger folded and Von Halle called. Kravchenko turned over trip fives and raked the pot.
Stud 8
Tran Takes Pot From Benyamine
Kenny Tran bet 800 after fourth street and was called by David Benyamine. Tran bet 16,000 and Benyamine raised on fifth street 3,200. Tran made the call and led out for 16,000 on sixth street. Benyamine called and both players checked the final card. Their hands were:
Tran: Q J 2 10 (Q-9-6)
Benyamine: 8 5 Q 10 (A Kx - 5 )
Tran's pair of queens was good enough for the high and Benyamine missed his flush draw and didn't make a low draw, so Tran scooped the entire pot and said he had put Benyamine on a draw.
Ivey and Galfond Chop It
In what looks like something you'd see on Full Tilt Poker, Phil Ivey and recent bracelet winner Phil Galfond (known as OMGClayAiken online) went head to head in a stud 8 hand. Ivey bet and was called by Galfond on every street.
Ivey: 7 K K Q (A-A-Q)
Galfond: 6 5 4 10 (3-6-8)
Ivey took the high with a full house and Galfond took the low with an 8-low, splitting the pot early in level 2.

Chipping Up Off The Old Bloch
Hawrilenko: 8 5 J A
Bloch: 4 2 10 9
Matt “Hoss_TBF” Hawrilenko completed with the 8 and was raised by Andy Bloch on his left. Johnny Chan and Mike Wattel both called, as did Hawrilenko, and the 4 each drew a fourth card. Hawrilenko caught a 5 , Bloch a 2 , Chan a J , and Wattel the K . On 5th street, Bloch bet and Hawrilenko called. The tables turned on 6th street and Bloch check-called a bet from Hawrilenko. Both players checked the river and Hawrilenko’s (A-6-4) gave him an 8-low. Bloch briefly showed (9-7-3) and mucked his 9-low. With the pot Hawrilenko moved up to 90,000.

David Grey Eliminated
Andy Bloch completed with the T and was raised by David Grey with the Q up. Grey admitted that, with about 13,000 chips to start the hand, he was almost certainly going to end up all-in on the hand. That is indeed what ended up happening, with he and Bloch all-in on 6th street:
Grey: (Q )(6 )Q 4 7 8
Bloch: (K )(J )10 2 5 A
Grey’s pair of queens was ahead of Bloch going to the final card, but Bloch had a slew of outs: any diamond, ace, king, or queen would give him the lead in the hand. Bloch flipped over his final card like it was hot: Q . Grey could only laugh as Bloch made a straight with the card that he so desperately needed.
Bloch now has an impressive 180,000 chips.

Huck Seed Scoops Massive Pot
On a board of J 9 5 2 , an intense raising war occurred between Huck Seed, Daniel Alaei, and David Oppenheim. The betting was capped after the third raise, and all players called. Seed was the primary aggressor, eventually getting all of his remaining chips into the middle. “Pair the freaking board,” Oppenheim muttered as he put in his last bet. The river did not comply with Oppenheim’s request, instead putting out the 10 . Huck Seed revealed his A 6 6 2 , and his nut flush was good for the entire pot as no low was possible.
“That Was You?”
On a flop of K 7 3 , Hasan Habib bet and was raised by Phil Hellmuth. Habib made the call, and the Q fell on the turn. Habib led out with a bet. “That was you?” Hellmuth commented, referring to the Q . “I thought that was me,” he added as he made the call. When the 7 hit the river, Habib checked to Hellmuth who fired a bet. Habib folded but showed that he held two pair, kings and treys.
