Gabriel Tudorache Cracks Kings With A Set
Jun 25, '16
Justin Young (not the Justin Young you’re thinking about) raised to 1,200. Charles Wolfe then reraised to 3,000 and Gabriel Tudorache made the call. Young called as well, and the three players saw a flop of Q76.
Tudorache checked, Young checked and Wolfe bet 6,000. Tudorache called, and then check-called another 10,000 on the 5 turn.
The river was the 10 and Tudorache checked again. This time, Wolfe smartly checked behind and tabled his KK. Tudorache turned over 77 and his set was enough to drag the pot.
“Where’s the rest of the pot?” asked another player at the table.
“Nothing I could do about that,” said Wolfe.
Although Tudorache lamented about how he played the hand, perhaps wishing he raised on the turn, he is still doing fine with 71,000.
