As play winds down on day 1b in the Card Player Poker Tour main event at Venetian, a group of chip leaders have emerged to pace the field as they march down to the final 19 players.
Scott Ball holds a slight lead over his challengers with 420,000, but Harpreet Padda is close behind with a stack of 390,000. Other contenders near the top include Michael Kahn with 326,000, Harvey Alegado holding 298,000, Chance Walker (255,000), and familiar face Aaron Massey (227,000).
