The board ran out 9857K, and Strickland was crippled to just a few big blinds.
A couple of hands later, Brittney Loy shoved her short stack into the middle with the A2, and it was folded to Strickland. He called all in with A-8 offsuit and was able to double up thru Loy.
Still very short stacked, Strickland later decided to open shove for 144,000 with the K6. The big stack of John Swope found a call with the A8, and Strickland was again at risk.
The board of AQ74Q provided little help for Strickland, and he was gone.
