Peter Neff Scores A Double Up
Nov 18, '22
There was some unknown action preflop, then on a flop of 976, Peter Neff checked from the big blind.
His opponent in the hijack bet 3,500, and the button folded. Neff called, and the turn was the 4.
Once again Neff checked, and his opponent bet 16,000. Neff then moved all in for 38,500.
Despite having half of the chips already in there, the hijack was reluctant to call, sensing he could be drawing very slim. He did ultimately pay off the bet, however, revealing K8.
Neff showed 108 for a flopped straight, and his opponent needed one of the three remaining tens to chop.
The river was the J, and Neff doubled up to about 95,000.
