On Dinner BreakJun 30, '07 Perhaps Noah Boeken and Marcello Del Grosso are clairvoyant. While sitting in adjacent seats they were sharing a meal. It is possible both knew they would be busted out before the dinner break and wanted to get their meal in early. Boeken was the first to go as he moved all in with A Q and was called by A A. He received no help and was eliminated in 40th place earning $15,578. Del Grosso managed to last till the next pay bump, but he eventually bowed out in 35th place earning $18,546. Nick Frangos lost a race with pocket tens versus K-Q and was eliminated in 32nd place earning the same payout. Jennifer took a few hits this last level. Tilly first doubled through Klein Bach with Jacks up. Only a few hands later Bach moved all in under the gun, and groaned when Tilly re-raised all in to isolate him. She turned over A-K to his J-2. There was an Ace and a Jack on the flop, but the turn was the 2, making Bach his own Jacks-up to double up himself. On the next to last hand before the break, Joe Pelton exacted some revenge on Tilly, when he defended against her $35,000 raise from the big blind, and called her $47,000 continuation bet on the Q 7 6. They both checked the 8s and the Kc on the turn and river, Tilly announced she had sixes and Pelton showed 10 7 to take the pot. Eugene Todd was the last player eliminated before the dinner break. Joe Pelton raised to $35,000 from the cutoff, Todd re-raised all in, and Pelton called. Pelton showed A A and Todd was in bad shape with 9 9. The board ran out Ks 10 6 K 7, and Todd was eliminated in 31st place, earning $18,546. There are currently 30 players left on 4 tables. They will be on dinner break until 11pm. Notable Chip Counts

The players are now on a 15 minute break following the completion of the twelfth level. There are fewer than 90 players left and with tables breaking and players moving seats some tough tables have been formed. At table 68 David Singer, Nick Frangos and Blair Rodman are all sharing the felt. Across the tournament area T.J. Cloutier, Raymond Davis, and Rafe Furst can all be seen sitting at the same table. Though the money bubble has burst, there is still a long, hard road ahead for any of these players to survive until the final table. Jordan Morgan is making a serious push for the final table and has been putting pressure on the other players at his table all day. Morgan raised to $6,500 preflop and the player in seat eight pushed all in for a little under $50,000. Morgan didn't even wait for the dealer to count out the bet before announcing that he would make the call. The player in seat eight showed A 10 and Morgan was holding J J. The board came 5 5 2 Q 4 and Morgan added his opponent's chips to his stack. Morgan now has over $130,000. Kirk Morrison was eliminated in 111th place, earning $4,822. John Esposito raised to $9,000 from middle position and Kirk Morrison reraised to $29,000 total. Esposito went deep into the tank and began to interrogate Morrison for information. "You trying to pull something?" asked Esposito. "If I'm gonna call I might as well put you all in, " said Esposito. Esposito then put $50,000 into the middle, reraising Morrison all in. Morrison only had a few thousand left and made the call. Esposito showed A Q and Morrison was holding 6 6. "Thought you had somethin' like that, " said Esposito. The board came K Q 9 K 10 and Esposito took down the pot, eliminating Morrison in 111th place. Notable Chip Counts

Short BreakJun 26, '07 Level two of today's $2,000 Limit Hold 'Em event is now over and the players are on a 15 minute break. Official numbers have yet to be released but estimates are that the field is somewhere near 500. Few pros, low limits and very, very slow play make this tournament a stark contrast to the always exciting H.O.R.S.E tournament about to start it's third day of play at 2 p.m. Elsewhere on the European front Juha Helppi has $2,300 in chips, Rolf Slotboom has $4,800 and Jeff Kimber has $1,300 in chips. Roy 'The Boy Brindley has made his first appearance at thee Series and has $4,075 in chips. 'I haven't got a clue what i'm doing but as the game goes deeper it becomes more like pot-limit so that's when i can get involved then, use my chips and position. I had $8,000 a while ago and i've had Aces cracked twice on the river.'
