Saif Ahmad Wins Event #43 In the span of two hands Ahmad locked up the championship. On the first hand Ahmad raised, Jensen reraised and Ahmad three bet. Jensen made the call and the flop came QQ2. Jensen checked, Ahmad bet and Jensen called. The turn brought the Q and Jensen again check-called. The river was the 3, Jensen checked and Ahmad bet again. Jensen quickly called but mucked when Ahmed tabled AK. That left Jensen on the short stack, and he wasted no time getting the rest of his money in on the next hand. He raised on the button with KJ Ahmed called. The flop came KJ2, and Ahmed bet, putting Jensen all in. He insta-called and looked to be in good shape against Ahmed's Q4. But Ahmed's rush continued when the turn came the 10 and the river A, giving Ahmed the straight and the tournament. William Jensen takes the second place prize money of $133,151. Saif Ahmed wins the tournament, 217,329 and a gold WSOP bracelet.

Blinds Raised The blinds have been raised to $10,000-$20,000 and the yellow $1,000 chips are being taken out of play.
Pechie Loses Big Pot Action is folded to Pechie in the small blind, he raises and is reraised by Saif Ahmad in the big blind. Pechie makes the call and the flop comes KK8. Ahmad bets and Pechie calls. The turn is the 5 and both players check. The river comes A Pechie checks and Ahmad bets. Pechie makes the call and tables A7, however he is beat by Ahmad's A10.
Pechie Doubles Shortly after losing a large hand against Ahmad, Pechie raises and is reraised all in by Tommy Rounds. Pechie makes the call with Q5 and is up against Rounds' AK. The board comes J438K and Pechie doubles.
Pechie Doubles Again Shortly after doubling Pechie gets it all in preflop with 1010 against AJ. The drama is quickly over then the flop comes 1082, giving Pechie a set and the commanding lead. The next two cards bring and Pechie is right back in the hunt from the bracelet.
Tommy Rounds Eliminated 5th ($43,811) Rounds raises and Ahmad makes the call. The flop comes QJ2, Rounds bets the last of his chips and Ahmad calls with J10. Rounds shows AK and the next two cards come Q4. Rounds finishes in fifth place for a $43,811 payday.
Justin Pechie Eliminated 4th ($59,274) Pechie raises and is called by William Jensen. The flop comes 987, Pechie bets and Jensen raises him all in. Pechie calls and tables KK, but is crushed by Jensen's J10. The next two cards come A10 eliminating Pechie in fourth place.
Play Resumes Play has restarted with the blinds $8,000-$15,000.
Tight Play This level has started with some tight play. 15 minutes into it, there has only been one hand that has gone to the river. A late position raise stealing the blinds has been the standard.
Joeseph Mandia Eliminated 8th ($18,899) Robert Pacleb raises under the gun and Joeseph Mandia reraises from the button. William Jensen 3-bets from the small blind and Pacleb folds. Mandia makes the call for the rest of his chips and tables 66. Jensen shows down AK, and the board comes Q1089J. Jensen rivers the nut straight sending Mandia to the rail in 8th place.
Robert Pacleb Eliminated 7th ($25,771)
Hal Havlisch moves all in for his last $30,000 and is called by Pacleb with his last $28,000. Michael Graffeo raises and everyone else folds. Havlisch tables KQ, Pacleb AK, and Graffeo 1010. The board comes KQ6, and Havlisch flops a miracle two pair. The next two cards come 38, eliminating Pacleb and tripling Havlisch.
Hal Havlisch Eliminated 6th ($34,362) Michael Graffeo raises from under the gun and Havlisch reraises all in from the small blind with KJ. Graffeo makes the call with 109 and the board comes 1072102. Graffeo makes the best hand and Havlisch is eliminated in sixth place.
In the Shadow of the H.O.R.S.E. All the excitement in the Amazon room is clearly directed to the final table of the H.O.R.S.E. event. That hasn't stopped the players in the limit event to bring their "A"game. There has been no table talk so far, and every single players has an intense focused look on their face. This final table should play out with some great poker.

Gerald Kane Eliminated 9th ($13,745) Gerald Kane has been crippled and then Eliminated from the tournament. Kane limps and William Jensen raises. Kane calls and the flop comes 1043, Kane checks calls Jensen's bet. The turn brings the 9, and again Kane check calls. The river is the 7, Kane checks then calls Jensen. Jensen tables KK, and Kane mucks. He was down to one chip when he was eliminated three hands later. Action was folded to him and he tossed his last $1,000 chip in the middle with AQ. Robert Pacleb called from the small blind and Tommy Rounds checked in the big. The flop came J22, Pacleb checked and Rounds bet. Pacleb folded and Rounds tabled 44. The next two cards came 66, sending Kane home in ninth place.

The turn is the 2 and again Mandia bets and Pechie calls. The river brings the 9 and Mandia bets. Pechie raises sending Mandia into the tank. He finally makes the call Pechie tables A7 for two pair. Mandia showes AQ and Pechie drags a huge pot.

This is Justin Pechie's second WSOP final table and his first one this year. He also finished second to Cory Carroll in this years WSOP circuit main event at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas.
