Batista had him covered, but not by much. Their hands: Batista: J9 Batista needed to hit another jack or nine, or else find a spade on the river to make a flush. Unfortunately for Batista, the river was a tiny 2 and he lost a big pot, dropping to just around 5,000 in chips. The player in seat 4 bet 5,000 and Jeffrey Lisandro made the call. Seat 4 showed 8-7-6-5-3 and Lisandro mucked. After the hand, Lisandro was around 10,000 in chips. Kabbaj Bets Out Mortensen John Kabbaj raised to 1,300 before the draw and the action folded around to Carlos Mortensen in the big blind. Mortensen made the call and elected to draw one card on.
