Randy Haddox Eliminated In 7th Place($36,084)

Barry Greenstein raised to 55,000 from middle position and the action was on Randy Haddox. He moved all in for 144,000 and Greenstein looked him up. Greenstein showed KJ while Haddox was dominating with AK. The flop was harmless for Haddox as it came 955. The turn was another story as the J hit the board, pairing Greenstein. The 7 completed the board and Haddox was gone in 7th place.

Matt Woodward Eliminated In 6th Place($44,520)

Action folded around to Matt Woodward on the button. He shoved all in for 324,000 and was immediately called by Bahador Ahmadi in the small blind. Barry Greenstein folded in the big blind and Woodward tabled A10 while Ahmadi showed AA.

The board ran out KA27J, failing to help Woodward and he was eliminated in 6th place.

Randy Haddox Eliminates Jeff Shulman

Randy "Randers" Haddox limps in the hijack and Jeff Shulman raises from the cutoff. The blinds fold and Haddox makes the call.

The flop comes K-Q-J and Haddox leads for 5,000. Shulman moves all in and is quickly called. Shulman shows K-J for two pair, but is behind to Haddox and his K-Q for a better two pair.

The turn and river fail to help and Shulman is eliminated from the tournament.

Big Hands and Storylines:

Banducci Rivers “Roothlus”

After a series of pre-flop raising, Adam “Roothlus” Levy and Michael Banducci got all of their chips in. Levy was in great shape with his AK against the KQ of Banducci. The flop was a welcome one for Levy: T85. The turn was the 4 however, giving Banducci a flush draw to go along with his queen outs. The 7 came on the river, making Banducci the flush and banishing Levy to the rail. After the hand Banducci raked in a pot of 750,000.

The River Bites Back

An orbit later, Michael Banducci gets his 6-6 all-in pre-flop against the A-K of Randall “Randers” Haddox. The flop – T54 – was benign, as was the Q on the turn. The A spiked on the river though, giving Haddox a pair of aces and winning him a 500k pot. After the hand, Banducci was again back to 500,000 in chips.

Jaffray Finally Loses One

From the small blind, Michael Binger moves all-in for his last 100,000 chips and gets a call from Alan Jaffray. Binger’s T6 was up against Jaffray’s A3.  The KQ9 flop gave Binger another four outs to count on, but it was one of his original outs – the T on the turn – that saved him. Binger doubled up to about 200,000, but is still one of the smallest stacks remaining.

Randy Haddox Eliminated

Toto Leonidas raises to 3,000 and Randy Haddox moves all in for 14,000. Leonidas calls and shows AK and he's up against Haddox's 66. The board rolls out QQ710 A and Haddox is eliminated. Leonidas now has 39,000.
