Oct 19, '19
A player raised from middle position and Nikhil Gera moved all in from the cutoff for about 25,000. Action folded back to the original raiser, who called.
Gera showed 55 and needed a two-outer to stay alive against his opponent’s QQ.
The board ran out A108KK and Gera didn’t spike a five. He was eliminated and will have to buy directly into Day 2 for $4,300 to have a shot at adding a Card Player Poker Tour title to a resume that already has two World Series of Poker Circuit rings.

Nikhil Gera Involved In Unlikely Three-Way Chop
Oct 19, '19
Nikhil Gera raised to 800 from under the gun and was called by a player in middle position and the big blind.
The flop was 654 and the big blind checked. Gera bet 1,300 and both players called. The turn was the 7 and the big blind checked again. Gera checked as well and the player in middle position thought for about a minute before betting 2,300. The big blind called and so did Gera.
The river was the 8, putting an eight-high straight on the board and all three players checked. Gera showed QJ, middle position tabled AA and the big blind turned over 66.
All three players played the eight-high straight on the board and chopped the pot.
Nikhil Gera – 31,000
