A sly fox David Fox is as he snuck onto the poker scene quietly hunting his prey. Hailing from Coram, New York, Fox earned his first major tournament cash in 2005. In 2006, he placed 15th in the World Poker Finals for more than $54,000. Fox honed his tournament skill and continued cashing in big events, but it wasn�t until late 2007 that he caught on fire.

Fox went back to the World Poker Finals and won a no-limit hold�em event for more than $180,000. He also won another preliminary event earlier in the year during the Venetian�s Deep Stack Extravaganza for almost $110,000. At the World Series of Poker Circuit event in New Orleans, he finished third for more than $133,000. He has built his lifetime tournament winnings and Player of Year points in events that had little to no television coverage but became a top 2007 POY contender without causing a stir.
