Landon Tice Triples Up
Nov 19, '22
Landon Tice shoved for his last 16,000 from early position and was called by both the small blind and Ryan Riess in the big blind.
The flop came down 752 and the small blind led for 11,000. Riess stared him down for about 30 seconds before making the call, and the turn was the 5.
This time the small blind bet 32,000, and Riess didn’t wait too long before releasing his hand.
“I hope you’re bluffing,” said Tice, turning over K10 for a flush draw.
The small blind showed A9.
“Okay, you were kind of bluffing.”
The river was the J and Tice made his flush to nearly get back to his starting stack. That will save him the $2,500 re-entry should he survive to the end of registration, which is in about half an hour.
