Matthias Auer Eliminates Ron West, Moves Into Chip Lead
Nov 13, '21

Auer, on the other hand, won a massive pot and moved into the chip lead, just edging out Tibor Nagygyoergy.

Matthias Auer and Ryan Dodd Eliminated by Donovan Dean
Nov 14, '21
Matthias Auer raised to 160,000 from the cutoff and was called by Donovan Dean in the small blind and Ryan Dodd in the big blind.
The flop came QJ10 and both blinds checked to Auer, who bet 225,000. Dean called and Dodd check-raised all in for about 1,200,000. Auer moved all in for about 1,300,000 and Dean thought for a few moments before calling, covering both players.
Dean showed 64, good for a flush draw, while Dodd showed a straight with 98 and Auer tabled two pair with J10.
The turn was the 2, keeping Dodd in the lead, but the 7 came on the river to give Dean a flush and eliminate both of his opponents.
Since Auer held the slightly larger, he will take the slightly better finishing spot. Auer will take 10th place and Dodd finishes in 11th. Both earn the same $27,727 payout.
Dean, on the other hand, almost overtakes Ezeqiel Waigel for the chip lead and secures a spot at the final table.
There is a short pause in the action while the final nine players redraw for seats at the final table.
Donovan Dean – 7,000,000
