Level 21 Update: Wahlbeck Eliminated, Negreanu Doubles UpJun 09, '09 Blinds: 10,000-20,000 Players Remaining: 11 out of 179 Chip Counts: 1. John Monnette – 1,332,000 Average Chip Count: 488,181 Notable Eliminations: 13. Ville Wahlbeck — $31,632 Big Hands: Wahlbeck Is Eliminated In 13th Place($31,632) Action folded around to Sam Khouiss on the button. He raised it to 40,000 and John Monnette made the call from the small blind. Ville Wahlbeck then moved his remaining 7,000 into the middle and both opponents made the call. The flop came down J84. Monnette fired 20,000 and Khouiss just called. The turn was the J and Monnette fired 40,000 into the pot. Khouiss just called again and both players checked the A on the river and everyone showed down their hands. Wahlbeck: AQQ7 Although there was a possibility for someone to make a low hand, none of the players had the five card combination required and Khouiss scooped the pot with his full house. Wahlbeck was shown the door in 13th place. Duke Drops A Big Pot On a board reading 1057Q, Tom Koral moved all of his chips into the middle against Annie Duke. She made the call and both players showed down their hands. Duke: AJ54 Koral was ahead with just a pair of sevens, besting Duke’s pair of fives. He also had the nut low draw so Duke needed to pair another one of her cards to at least chop the pot. Instead, the river paired the board as the Q dropped and Koral doubled up to almost 250,000. Duke was down to under 80,000 in chips. Negreanu Doubles Through Clements Scott Clements raised to 40,000 preflop and Daniel Negreanu three-bet to 60,000. Clements made the call and the flop came down A9K. Negreanu fired 20,000 and Clements stuck around. The turn brought the Q and Negreanu bet his remaining stack and Clements called. Negreanu: A7K2 Negreanu had the best of it with top two pair but Clements had two pair of his own to go with a gutshot straight draw. The 6 came on the river and gave Clements no help. Negreanu doubled up to about 180,000.
