Big Hands:
Ben Zamini on Rollercoaster Ride Ending in Elimination
Ben Zamini began a 3-hand rollercoaster ride that ultimately concluded with a trip to the rail. On the first hand, Zamini got it all in with Andrew Robl on a board of TT63. Zamini turned over AT and Robl mucked his hand before the river was dealt and paid off Zamini.
On the next hand, Zamini gave all the chips he accumulated to Pat Pezzin when Pat hit two pair, kings and tens, and Zamini
mucked his cards.
The final straw came with Robl raising from under-the-gun and chip leader David Rheem 3-betting from the button. Zamini called all in, and Robl called. The J32 generated checks from both active opponents, but the 5 on the turn generated a bet from Robl and an instant raise from Rheem. Robl made the call and check-folded Rheem’s bet on the 2 river card. Rheem announced that he had a straight and flipped over the 64 and Zamini showed the KJ before mucking.
Chau Giang’s Stack Dwindles, Eliminated in 11th Place.
Facing a river bet from Justin Bonomo on a board of J9864, Chau Giang paused for several minutes before ultimately calling with the TT. Bonomo turned over the QQ and raked in the large pot. Giang was crippled, having less than 15,000 in chips after losing the pot. Two hands later, Andrew Robl raised from from the button and Giang called all in with the K9. Robl made a straight to eliminate Giang and send the remaining players to the final table bubble.
Ron Kevin Eliminated on First Hand of Final Table Bubble
After the players redrew for their seats at table 1 to play out the bubble for the televised 9-handed final table, David Williams eliminated Ron Kevin on the first hand. Williams raised pre-flop and Kevin moved all in. Williams called with 99, a slight favorite over Kevin’s AQ. Williams flopped a set of 9s, but the board also gave Kevin an inside straight draw. The turn and river failed to bring the missing jack, and Kevin was eliminated in 10th place for a payday of $23,406.

Robert Williamson
Jordan Smith
David Olson
Big Hands:
Andy Bloch Decimated After Folding to Williams
On a board of AJT73 in the limit round, David Williams fired a bet into the pot, and Andy Bloch contemplated a call. The pot was fairly large, but Andy would need to call of all of his remaining stack. He took several minutes before electing to fold, saying that he missed his 11-out draw. Andy Bloch left himself with slightly less than 24,000 in chips, and was due both blinds on the immediate next two hands.
Giang Finds Rockets to Soar Ahead
On the next hand, Williams raised from middle position and Chau Giang, next to act, put in 3 bets. Williams called, and the two saw the KQ5 flop. Williams checked, Giang bet and David called. The J on the turn brought checks from both players. On the T river, David Williams checked and called Giang’s bet. Chau flipped over the AA for the nut straight and Williams mucked.
Robert Williamson Eliminated
During the same limit round, Robert Williamson got it all in with Pat Pezzin on a flop of KT9. Williamson eagerly flipped over his AK, and Pezzin turned over KJ for top pair, the second nut flush draw, and an inside straight draw. The Q on the turn filled the latter, and the river failed to bring a jack for Williamson to catch up.
Jordan Smith Eliminated by David Rheem
Jordan Smith and David Rheem got into a raising war pre-flop to put Smith all in. Rheem made the call and flipped over TT, dominating Smith’s AT. The board brought no help for Smith, and he was eliminated. David Rheem currently has over 600,000 in chips.
Roland de Wolfe Busts Two in a 3-Way All In Pot
Andy Bloch’s tournament life came to an end from the small blind when he forced himself to commit the remainder of his chips to a raise from Roland de Wolfe without looking at his cards. David Olson called the raise from the big blind and called the remainder of his stack on a flop of A86. Olson turned over KQ and de Wolfe tabled A2. Bloch picked this moment to finally look at his hand and realized he was in second place with the 98. The Q on the turn and 4 on the river improved neither Bloch nor Olson, and both were eliminated.
Andrew Robl Busts Anh van Nguyen
Anh van Nguyen’s tournament life came to an end when Andrew Robl got it all in with AT to van Nguyen’s KJ. Robl spiked the A on the flop and took down the pot. Andrew Robl has had a particularly dramatic round during the no limit level, quickly accumulating and losing chips.

Recent Eliminations:
Ariel Schneller
Michael McKenna
Pete de Best
Big Hands:
Ariel Schneller Busts to the New Chip Leader
After maintaining the chip lead at the end of day 1 and most of day 2, Ariel Schneller was hit with a devastating blow immediately before the dinner break, leaving him with less than 30,000 in chips. Shortly after play resumed from the dinner break, Schneller got himself all in during the limit round on a flop of A53. His opponent and the current chip leader, David Rheem, called quickly with the A9 for top pair and the nut flush draw. Schneller was way behind with the KT and would need running non-heart cards to overtake Rheem’s hand. When this failed to occur, Schneller was sent to the rail.
Another Former Chip Leader Eliminated
Never having settled his previous dispute with a split pot, Michael McKenna was ultimately eliminated by Anh van Nguyen.
The major cause of McKenna’s downfall was a previous hand with David Williams. On a board of 8664 during the limit round, Williams got all of his chips into the middle with the help of raises from McKenna. When the cards were flipped, McKenna held the KK and Williams had spiked a set with the 44. The meaningless A on the river meant that Williams had successfully doubled up and currently sits with about 140,000 in chips.
Within the next three hands, McKenna got his remaining 12,000 chips all in with K7 against van Nguyen with AQ. The Q87 flop put van Nguyen in the lead, which he maintained throughout the rest of the community cards. McKenna earned $12,483 for his 22nd place finish.
Dewitt vs. De Best
Jason Dewitt eliminated Pete de Best in 20th place after getting it all in preflop with a dominated hand. Initially, Dewitt raised from under-the-gun to 8,500 and de Best moved all in for a total of 34,500. Dewitt made a comment about being committed to call, and flipped over QT. Pete was in the lead with AQ, but the AKJ flop gave Dewitt the nut straight and de Best failed to catch up. Pete de Best earned $12,483 for his 20th place finish.
Olson on a Roll
Jason Dewitt continued to accumulate chips, this time by way of Isaac Haxton. On a board of A922, Dewitt fired 20,000 into the pot. After deliberating, Haxton put Dewitt all in. Dewitt made a comment about not being able to get away from his hand and called with AK. Haxton turned over J8 for a stone bluff and was drawing dead.
