Hellmuth stood pat, while the other two players took one card. Hellmuth bet 200 and after a call Danzer raised to 400. Both players called and only the player on the button took a card. It was checked to Danzer and he bet. Both others called and again only the button took a card. This time he bet out and both Danzer and Hellmuth called. He showed 7-6-4-3-2. Danzer showed 8-6 and asked Hellmuth what he had. He replied, "I'm Phil Hellmuth. What do you think I had?" Then he asked the dealer for the same hand so that he can cap it all again. Mizrach folds, holds on to last few chips Michael Mizrachi raised to 400 and David Chiu reraised to 600 from the button. Mizrachi called and took two cards. Chiu took one card and then bet 200 when it checked to him. Mizrachi called and again took two cards, while Chiu stood pat. This time, Mizrachi check-folded. After the hand he was down to 2,500 chips, while Chiu was up to 12,000. Kessler takes down big pot In a hand that was capped on the initial betting round, Kessler told the table that he had the best hand and then bet after every draw. He was called down by one player and showed 8-7-5-4-2 to take down the pot. He had 9,000 chips to end the level, but is even happier that he convinced the tournament director to make an adjustment to the blinds. Instead of 200-300 and later on 300-500 blinds the players will hold onto the $25 chips and play with 150-300 and 250-500 blinds. Singer survives David Singer survived an all in against two others when his 8-7-4-3-2 just edged out an opponent's 8-7-6-5-4-2. After the hand he had roughly 3,000 chips. Among them was Jeff Madsen, who after experiencing a brutal beat earlier didn't have many chips to work with.David "Devilfish" Ulliot was eliminated early in this round by Chau Giang. Ulliot finished in 51st place after going all in with A-A-10-6 up against Giang who was holding A-A-10-9. There was no qualifying low on the board and Giang caught a flush on the turn to eliminate Ulliot. Not shortly after picking up almost $30,000 from Ulliot, Giang gave it all away to George Danzer. Giang pushed all in with A A 3 2 and a board showing K J 4. Danzer made the call with A J 10 2 and was behind Giang's aces. The turn was the 3 and the river brought the Q giving Danzer broadway. Giang had no low and Danzer took down the enormous pot. Giang finished in 46th place. There are fewer than 45 players remaining in day two of this Pot Limit Omaha eight-or-better event.
