Adam Junglen – 4,700,000 Radoja Doubles Through Junglen For Chip Lead Nicolas Fierrogottner started the level off as one of the short stacks, but quickly doubled through then chip leader Adam Junglen after getting it all in before the flop with A 10 against Junglen’s 7 7. The board came A 9 3 J 3, giving Fierrogottner top pair on the flop. Fierrogottner doubled up to just over 3 million this hand, taking the chip lead from Junglen who was left with about 2.5 million. A few hands later and Nicolas Fierrogottner managed to put even further distance between himself and his opponents after winning a huge pot against Mark Radoja with quad eights. That was the second time Nicolas Fierrogottner made quads at this final table, and he continues to lead with over 4 million. Not For Long…Junglen Takes The Lead Back Nicolas Fierrogottner stole the chip lead from Adam Junglen earlier in the level by doubling through, but as Level 7 approached, Junglen managed to sneak in and steal the lead back once again. Junglen got involved in a huge pot with Mark Radoja worth 3 million that went to a showdown. Junglen had turned the nut straight and taken the chip lead back once again with 4.7 million, leaving Radoja with just about 2.5 million after the hand. Nicolas Fierrogottner – 2,045,000 Fierrogottner Takes The Lead As is the structure of a shootout event, the players all began the day even in chips and relatively deep stacked, but Mark Fierrogottner managed to pick up a few pots this level, crossing 2 million with the current chip lead. In a four-way limped pot, Nikita Lebedev bet 50,000 on a flop of K 10 10 and Mark Radoja and Nicolas Fierrogottner both called. The turn was the 10, Fierrogottner bet 150,000, Lebedev folded and Radoja called. The river was the 2, Fierrogottner bet 400,000 and Radoja called. Fierrogottner turned over K 10 for quad tens on the turn. Fierrogottner raked the pot, putting him over 2 million which was good for the lead at the moment. After a couple of pot-repot raises, Boeken found himself all in. He turned over AA, besting Smith’s KK. The board ran out QJ74J and Boeken doubled up to 260,000. Smith was down to 148,000. Radoja Eliminated Mark Radoja raised to 11,000 from under the gun and the action folded to Clement Thumy. He raised to 23,000 and Radoja moved in for 50,000. Thumy made the call and turned over 77. Radoja showed KQ and the race was on. The board ran out A65A9 and Radoja was eliminated. Filippi Doubles Up Amnon Filippi moved all in preflop and was called by Sam Stein. Filippi turned over KK while Stein was behind with 1010. The board ran out J64QQ and Filippi doubled to 150,000. Stein dropped to 250,000. The flop was 549 and Papola checked over to Radoja, who fired out 225,000. Papola made a raised to 575,000 and Radoja moved all-in and was called by Papola. Papola showed the 109 and Radoja had a flush draw with the Q8. The turn gave Radoja more outs when the 8 peeled off, but the river was the K, giving the pot to Papola and sending Radoja home with $262,902 in his pocket. The elimination sent Men Nguyen into a frenzied celebration that upset some of the supporters of Radoja supporters on the rail.
