The remaining 171 players are now on a ninety-minute dinner break following the completion of Level 6. Play will resume in level 7 at approximately 8:45 pm PDT.

Today’s event drew 436 players, all of whom put up the $2,500 buy-in , creating a total prize pool of $1,002,800. Forty-five places will be paid, ranging in prizes of $4,833 for 45th place, all the way up to $235,685 for first.

Spotted in the field today are notable pros such as Jesse Rios who appears to be the current chipleader at the moment with just over 100,000 in chips, followed closely by John Juanda (47,500) and J.C. Tran (46,000).

Some notable eliminations thus far include Jeff Lisandro, Jared Hamby, Katja Thater, Clonie Gowen, Sammy Farha, Chau Giang, Gavin Smith, Robert Mizrachi, David Williams, Mike Sexton, Shannon Shorr, Jason Mercier, Nenad Medic, Daniel Negreanu, Max Pescatori and Erik Lindgren.
