Joe Serock Sends One HomeNov 12, '21 Joe Serock was in the hijack and got into a preflop battle with his opponent in middle position. Based on the way the chips were laid out on the felt, it appeared Serock three-bet his opponent’s initial raise and was facing a four-bet shove for about 30,000. Serock mulled over his decision for a bit before calling. It was a flip between Serock’s AJ and his opponent’s 1010. The flop was J63, giving Serock the lead with top pair and the nut flush draw. The turn was the 5 and the river was the K. Serock ended up with the nut flush and sent his opponent to the rail with just a few minutes left in the level. Joe Serock – 76,000 Player Tags: Joseph Serock Trio of Double Ups On The BubbleNov 13, '21 There were all ins and calls on three separate tables during one of the first few hands on the bubble. Adrian Mateos committed about 150,000 preflop on the button, which was all but a single 5,000 denomination chip, against Mike Dentale in middle position. The last chip was put in on a flop of 764. Dentale showed QJ and needed runners against Mateos’ KK. The turn and river were no help to Dentale and Mateos doubled up. On another table, Kyle Cartwright raised from middle position and the player in the cutoff moved all in for 190,000. Action folded back to Cartwright who called. Cartwright was in the lead with KK against his opponent’s AK, but an ace came on the flop to put a dagger in Cartwright’s dream of bursting the bubble. On the third table, Joe Serock raised from middle position and the player in the small blind went all in for 225,000. Serock called. It was a race with his JJ up against the small blind’s AK, but once again an ace came on the flop to send the pot to the small blind and continue bubble play. Joe Serock – 280,000 Player Tags: Joseph Serock, Kyle Cartwright, Adrian Mateos, Michael Dentate |
