There was around 60,000 in the pot and the board read K88A when Lane Lortscher bet 30,000. Mike Perez raised to 60,000, then Lortscher re-popped it to 130,000. Perez announced he was all-in and Lortscher quickly called with KK for kings full.
“I need an eight,” Perez announced as he tabled J8.
He hit his eight on the 8river, prompting a round of shouting from both tables. The one-outer sent Lortscher to the rail, but because short stack NM busted on the other table on the same hand, the two split the 32nd place payday of $900.

Three players limped into pot and Mike Perez completed the small blind. Belinda Robinson was in the big blind and made it 30,000 to play. The three limpers folded and Perez clarified it was only 20,000 more to call, then called.
The flop fell 852 and Perez bet 40,000, which Robinson called.
The turn was the 6 and Perez checked, then called Robinson’s bet of 60,000.
The river was the Q and both players checked.
Perez showed 77 and Robinson turned over AQ for a rivered pair of queens to take the pot.

Mike Perez Wins A Flip To Bust One

Mike Perez opens to 32,000 and the player to his left moved all-in for around 100,000 total.
Perez made the call with the AQ and found him self in a race against the JJ.
The flop and turn came down K9610. The player with pocket jacks was one card away from doubling up, but the J spiked the river to give Perez the broadway straight, the pot and the knockout.
