Kevin O?Donnell has had his share of ups and down in life, but in the poker arena, it?s been all up for the man who currently resides in Scottsdale, Arizona. O?Donnell, a self-made millionaire, used to live in a one-bedroom apartment with his daughter in Hawaii. But as the owner of two companies, one of the largest mortgage companies in the state and a popular sports bar, he was able to overcome adversity, giving him more time to spend on the felt.

O?Donnell?s passion for the game began early, as a young man who seemingly gambled on everything. But the hobby eventually turned into an opportunity, and since 2005, he has earned more than $1.2 million on the circuit. At the Legends of Poker main event in Los Angeles, he accomplished a rare feat when he made the final table in back-to-back years, finishing in sixth in 2005 and fourth in 2006.

Heading into the 2006 WSOP, O?Donnell placed a bet with friend Antonio Esfandiari, claiming he could earn more than $100,000 throughout the series. In the end, he cashed six times, earning more than $700,000 for his performance, capping it all off with a 21st-place finish in the main event.
