Nachman Berlin Takes Chip Lead
Matthew Carmody started Level 26 as the chip leader but took an early hit after Nachman Berlin doubled through him with a set of jacks. Carmody continued to lose chips that level, ultimately surrendering the lead to Nachman Berlin as Level 27 rolled around.
Berlin won a huge (1.2 million) pot off of Carmody in Level 27 with aces full of deuces, cementing the chip lead with 5 million to Carmody’s 3 million. All four stacks seemed to really even out as Level 27 came to an end and with all four players now extremely close in chips, this is still anyone’s game.
