Matt Jarvis – 8,645,000 Matt Jarvis Leads Justin Filtz Heads-Up Matt Jarvis entered heads-up play with a chip lead of 7,105,000 to 3,795,000 against Justin Filtz, and after about a level or so of back and forth without any major movement, Justin Filtz had stolen the chip lead. For the first time during the final heads-up match, Filtz took the lead with about 5.7 million to Jarvis’ 5.1 million after winning a 2.3 million pot without a showdown about halfway through Level 28. Filtz began to stretch the lead, recording a high of about 6.8 million to 4.1 million before Jarvis nearly doubled through with a massive eight-high bluff, essentially evening the stacks, however he managed to retake a slight chip lead of about 5.8 million to 5.2 million as Level 29 came to an end. Jarvis began Level 30 with a slight chip lead that he quickly stretched after raking a pot worth 3.1 million with a pair of sevens, extending his lead to more than 2:1 with 7,750,000 to Filtz’s 3,250,000. Filtz answered back by almost immediately doubling back through with 9 9 against Jarvis’ 4 4 on a rag board. That hand gave Filtz the lead once gain, now with about 6.8 million to Jarvis’ 3.2 million. Jarvis inched back in the last level of the night and managed to double up to take the chip lead for the final time tonight after getting it all in pre-flop with A 10 against Filtz’s 77.
