It was a pretty awful level for Matt Perrins. He was moved to the featured table with 4 million and now he is out of the tournament.
His trouble started in a limped pot with Mezbah Guerfi. The two of them got it in on a board reading 7

. Perrins showed 72
for two pair, but Guerfi had him drawing slim with A2.
The river was the 10 and Guerfi doubled up to 3.8 million. Perrins was left with 1.3 million.
Then, Perrins open shoved with A8 only to find a caller in Chouity who held AQ. The board ran out J10377 and Perrins was out. The players are now redrawing for the final table.

Salvatore Bonavena Eliminated in 11th Place

Nicolas Chouity can’t be stopped. He was recently put to the test by a 1.42 million all in from the tightest player at the table, Salvatore Bonavena.
After about a minute of thought, Chouity made the call with KQ and was happy to see that he was racing against Bonavena’s JJ.
The board came AK4A9 and Chouity collected the pot, bringing his stack to over 9 million.

Nicolas Chouity raised preflop and Craig McCorkell called from the big blind. The flop came dow K109 and McCorkell checked.
Chouity fired in a bet of 175,000 and McCorkell called. The turn was the 3 and Chouity bet 250,000. McCorkell called and the river was the 5.
Chouity then bet 340,000 and McCorkell took some time before raising to 1,120,000. Chouity was worried about a back door flush, but eventually decided to called with QJ for the flopped straight. McCorkell could only show J9 and was knocked down to 1.8 million. Chouity is now up to a monster chip lead of 7.3 million.

The turn was the 9 and both players checked. The river was the Q and Kelopuro bet 575,000. Chouity called with pocket aces and Kelopuro could over produce AQ for a river pair of queens.
Chouity is now up to an impressive 5.9 million.

On a flop of 10109, Jean Francois Talbot was all in holding AA. The only problem was that Nicolas Chouity held A10 for flopped trips.
The turn and river fell KK and Talbot was eliminated. Chouity is now the chip leader with over 4 million in chips.

With a safe card on the river, Nicolas Chouity is the 2010 PokerStars EPT Grand Final Champion, earning €1,700,000.
Chouity entered the final table with a massive chip lead and never let up, continuing to apply pressure and knocking out all but one of his opponents. Coming back from the dinner break, Chouity played his two remaining opponents against each other perfectly and made sure that he had momentum entering heads up play.
After fading a card rush from Josef Klinger, Chouity picked up some cards of his own and they held to take the title. Congratulations Nicolas Chouity!
