Busquet raised to 20,000 from middle position and Stein called from the cutoff. Chae moved all in for his last 27,000 from the big blind and Busquet announced he was all in for 450,000.Stein snap-called and flipped over QQ. Busquet was ahead with KK and Chae showed the worst hand, 109.

But a flop of AQ9 gave Stein a set of Queens and Busquet a flush draw. The 9 gave Stein a full house, Queens full of nines and left Chae drawing to the final nine in the deck and Busquet looking for the remaining King.

Dwyte Pilgrim lost most of his stack on a coinflip, but battled back to make things interesting against Olivier Busquet. Ultimately, it just wasn’t enough.

On his final hand, Pilgrim moved in with 95 and was called by Busquet’s K10. Busquet flopped a ten and Pilgrim was eliminated.

Olivier Busquet built a substantial lead in his match, but Liv Boeree was threatening to even things up again when she moved all in holding pocket queens.

Busquet needed help holding the A10 and was fortunate enough to flop a flush to send Boeree packing. Busquet will now take on Jason Mercier in the next round.

We didn’t catch the action, but Olivier Busquet was no longer in his seat, prompting us to investigate.

According to Lee Childs, the two of them got it in on a board of K-7-6-6 and Childs’ A-6 was enough to send Busquet and his 8-6 to the rail. Childs now has 27,000.

Busquet checked and Hellmuth bet 38,000. The turn was the 9 and Hellmuth again bet 105,000. The river was the 7 and this time, Busquet led for 245,000.

Hellmuth instantly called and showed pocket kings for top set, but Busquet revealed pocket tens for the rivered straight. Hellmuth immediately began to rant, saying “Why do I feel like I’m on another planet? They play so bad. It’s just rediculous. What a beat. That’s the worst beat I’ve had in a long time. Terrible!”

Busquet moved up to 1.175 million and Hellmuth moved down to 600,000.
