Tommy Vo Takes Back The Chip Lead
Aug 04, '12
Allyn Jaffrey Shulman raised to 1,500 from middle position and was called by both Ruth Hall and Tommy Vo before the button reraised to 5,500.
Shulman called, Hall folded and Vo called. The flop came down K 9 5 and everyone checked.
The turn was the A and Shulman checked. Vo bet 6,000 and the button called. Shulman folded and the river was the 6. Both players decided to check it and Vo’s A 10 was enough to give him the pot and a new stack of 125,000, good for the chip lead.

Ruth Hall Eliminated
Aug 05, '12
On a flop of K 4 3, Ruth Hall found herself all in. James Manlowski then isolated all in behind her, only to find Piotr Brodzik making the call.
Hall told the table she was dead money, turning over pocket sevens. Manlowski then showed K Q for top pair and a flush draw. Brodzik turned over K 3 for top and bottom pair, but they failed to hold when the A 5 fell on the turn and river.
Hall was eliminated, Brodzik was left with 205,000 and Manlowski chipped up to 435,000.

Hall called and the turn was the 6. She checked and Riffle bet 10,000. Hall folded, telling Riffle, “You’re being a chip bully.”
She’s right. Riffle now has 261,000.
