Orel Hershiser Moved In On
A player in middle position bet 1,100 and Orel Hershiser called in the small blind. The flop came K103 and action went check-check. The Q on the turn prompted another check from Hershiser. His opponent bet 1,050. Hershiser check-raised to 6,025. His opponent reraised enough to put the former professional athlete all in. Hershiser elected to fold and saved his last 9,000.

Phil Ivey Crippled

Masaki exposed the KK and was way ahead of the QQ of Ivey. The flop was safe for Masaki as it came 883. However, the Q on the turn gave Ivey top set. Masaki had two outs to stay alive. When the K hit the river, Masaki doubled up and Ivey was crippled to just 1,900.
Ivey was eliminated a few hands later and his run at back-to-back final tables won’t happen.
