Jean-Robert Bellande was born on Sept. 17, 1970, in Long Island, New York. He was first noticed by the poker community when he made the televised final table at the 2005
World Series of Poker Tournament Circuit championship at the Rio in Las Vegas. He finished third and became known for his playful and often aggressive table talk. Because of his personality and poker accomplishments, he earned an invitation-only seat at the
World Poker Tour?s Bad Boys of Poker II.
Bellande works as a nightclub promoter, but keeps poker as one of his top priorities, traveling to several of the richest tournaments every year. He was also featured on the 15th season of Survivor.
