Four Players Bust on the Bubble!
Aug 04, '13
Three players have busted on the money bubble and here is how each of them fell:
Tim Cable was all in and short stacked with 85 against the A8 of Rob Salaburu. The board fell J962A and Cable was eliminated. He then had to remain seated, hoping for someone else to bust in order to chop some prize money.
In his final hand Jerry Lorett raised to 16,000 preflop and Mohammad Abedi-Arani reraised to 34,000. Lorett moved all in for 115,000 with A-J and Abedi called with Q-J. The board ran out J-8-2-Q-brick and Lorett was eliminated.
Nathan Bjerno got the last of his chips into the middle with the board reading 1066J. He held 10-9 but Donald Thurman had 6-4 for trip sixes and that was it for Bjerno.
Jackson White moved all in under the gun with AQ and Jose Galindo called from middle position with pocket kings. The board fell A547K and a fourth player fell on the bubble.
The four players chopped up the prize money for 81st, 80th, and 79th place, so each of them will take home $2,060.25 in prize money.
