Jameson Singer Busts One
Feb 15, '14
With a flop of 753 the player in the hijack checked. Former Card Player tournament reporter and current poker professional Jameson Singer bet 1,500 and the player in the hijack then check-raised to 4,000.
Singer called and the turn brought the 9. The hijack bet 7,000 and Singer tanked for a while before making the call.
The river brought the 6, putting a four-liner on the board. The hijack checked and Singer pushed out a stack large enough to put her all in. She quickly called with the 75 for flopped two-pair, only to see that she had lost on the river to Singer’s 88 which made a straight on the river.
The hijack hit the rail and Singer raked in the huge pot. He won the following hand as well and now has 89,000 in chips heading into the break.

Chris Schonbach Makes A Great Call
Feb 16, '14
On a board reading K 6 3 9 J, Chris Schonbach in the small blind was facing a bet from Jameson Singer, who was on the button. Schonbach thought about it for a bit before making the call.
Singer tapped the table, indicating that it was a good call. He tabled A-10 for just ace-high and Schonbach exposed pocket deuces, for the smallest pair possible.
The pair was good and he raked in a nice sized pot early here on Day 2.
Schonbach started the day with 110,900, which was enough to be among the chip leaders. He has been adding to that stack quickly today.
