Abe Mosseri Wins!

Abe Mosseri Wins Event No. 55 ($165,521) Masayoshi Tanaka Eliminated in Second Place ($102,313)

Abe Mosseri dominated heads-up play and quickly had Masayoshi Tanaka down to his final few bets.

On the very last hand, Tanaka raised and Mosseri reraised. Tanaka called and drew two cards and Mosseri drew one. Mosseri bet and was called and stood pat on the second draw.

Tanaka drew one and both players got it all in. Both stood pat on the end and Mosserii quickly put Tanaka out of his misery by showing number three, 7-6-5-3-2. Tanaka couldn’t beat it and was eliminated in second place

Mosseri picked up his first career bracelet just two weeks removed from his sixth place finish in the $10,000 Stud eight-or-better championship.
