Deeb announced all in and Vedes called off the rest of his stack with pocket queens. Deeb showed pocket kings and was in great shape to take out Vedes, but the board ran out J956Q and Vedes spiked a queen on the river to double up to the chip lead with 6.25 million. Deeb is now the short stack with less than 2 million.

Cunix showed 86 for two live cards, but the board came K1063J and Crivello’s flush sent Cunix to the rail in sixth place. Crivello now has 3.2 million.

Shawn Cunix then called from the button, Tommy Vedes called from the small blind and Jason Lavallee called from the big blind. Phew!
The flop came down KQ6 and everyone checked to Cunix who bet 720,000. Vedes moved all in for 1.3 million and change and everyone else got out of the way.
Cunix called with 66 for bottom set and Vedes showed KQ for top two pair.
Needing a four-outer to stay alive, Vedes came through when the K5 hit the turn and river, filling his hand to give him a higher full house.
Vedes now has 3.9 million and Cunix is crippled down to 610,000.

The flop came down J96 and Vedes checked to Lavallee who continued with a bet of 280,000.
Vedes called and the turn was the 3. Vedes checked, Lavallee bet 520,000 and Vedes called.
The river was the K and Vedes checked once again. Lavallee thought it over, bet 850,000 and scooped the pot when Vedes mucked.
Lavallee now has 4.3 million and Vedes is among the shorter stacks with 1.5 million.

Deeb showed pocket queens and Cunix mucked, putting his stack down to 2.3 million. Deeb is now even stronger with 4.9 million.
