Tommy Vedes has had quite the year. After a deep run in this summer’s WSOP Main Event, Vedes drew some attention. Earlier this month he also went deep at the EPT London Main Event and started generating some hype.
Now with this victory here at the Bellagio Festa Al Lago, Vedes has proven that he is one of the newest threats on tour.
Undoubtedly, a win of this magnitude can’t come without some luck, which Vedes certainly received at this final table. Nonetheless, he is the newest WPT Champion and takes home $1,218,225, along with a $25,000 seat into the WPT Championship next April.
