Stephen Su started the day as the chip leader, but Rep Porter quckly stole the lead early in the match after raking a big pot with a nine-low after Su double-paired on seventh street. Porter extended his lead after taking down another big pot with a nine-low against Su’s ten-low. Porter took a 2:1 chip lead that hand with roughly 1.8 million to Su’s 900,000.
Porter continued to extend his lead and eventually Su was whittled down to his last few bets before getting it all in on third street with an A against porter’s 8.
