Austin Scott entered heads-up play with the chip lead and despite an early double up by Brett Richey in level 27, Scott continued to chip away at his opponent until he had him below 1 million in chips. On the final hand of the tournament, Brett Richey opened the button for 100,000 and Scott called from the big blind.

The flop came 8Diamond Suit6Club Suit2Spade Suit, and both players checked.

The turn was the QSpade Suit, Scott bet 125,000, Richey reraised to 575,000, Scott shoved and Richey called all in.
