Greg Mueller started the day with a nearly 3:1 chip lead over David Baker, but Baker quickly climbed out of the red and took the lead for himself in Level 30. Mueller was knocked down to just 600,000 after Baker won a big showdown in the Razz portion of Level 31. Down to his last few big bets, Mueller was eliminated shortly after in the another game of Razz.

David Baker brought in the AHeart Suit for 30,000, Greg Mueller completed the bet to 100,000 with the ADiamond Suit and Baker called. Baker bet 100,000 on fourth street and Mueller called. Baker then bet 200,000 on fifth street, Mueller raised all in for 315,000 total and Baker called

Greg Mueller entered the unscheduled day 4 with a nearly 3:1 chip lead over David Baker, but Baker managed to chip back to nearly even during the Stud 8 portion of the level. Baker scooped a key pot with a full house against Mueller’s pair of aces and a busted low draw. That hand put Baker at 1.7 million and knocked Mueller down to about 1.9 million.

Baker opened the pot and called a completion bet by Mueller on third street and then called an 80,000 bet on fifth street. Baker led out for 160,000 on both sixth and seventh streets and Mueller called for a showdown. Baker made a full house on the river while Mueller missed the low draw. Baker scooped that pot and brought the two back to nearly even after just one level of play.

Mueller made trip tens to scoop the side pot and win the high portion of the main pot while Puchkov took the low portion of the main pot with a six-low. Chris McHugh was eliminated in 7th place ($31,578) while Greg Mueller secured the chip lead with about 1,150,000 after the hand.
