Jared Hamby Doubles Up Three Times
Jared Hamby has pulled off a big comeback thanks to three double-ups during Level 28. In the first hand his K-10 topped the 6-5 of Peter Hengsakul on a board reading 7-6-3-8-10. That took Hamby to 2.1 million.
In the second hand Hamby held pocket eights and Hengsakul possessed A-6 suited. The final board was 10-8-7-A-7 and Hamby was up to 3.22 million thanks to a full house.
Hamby took a big lead the third time he doubled up. The flop read Q109 when Hamby got all in with Q3 in the hole. Hengsakul had him covered with 109 in the hole and the turn and river fell 22. Hamby doubled up to take the chip lead with 7.5 million thanks to two pair, queens and deuces, and Hengsakul was down to 2 million.
