Lenny Martin raised to $80,000 and Rafi Amit reraised to $120,000 before the first draw. Martin called and drew three cards. Amit stood pat. He then led out for $40,000 after the first drawing round, and Martin called after taking three cards. Amit stood pat again on the second drawing round. He fired out $80,000 as Martin took three more cards. Martin then made an all-in call and both players stood pat for the third drawing round. The players flipped up their hands and Amit showed a 7-6-4-3-2 low, while Martin mustered an 8-7 low. It was not enough to survive, and he finished in second place, good for $128,120 in prize money. That made Rafi the 2007 2-7 Triple Draw Lowball champion, he took home the gold bracelet, and a first-place prize of $227,005.
After a period of very little action the blinds went up to $20,000-$40,000, with $40,000-$80,000 limits.
Rafi Draws First Blood
Rafi Amit took down the first large pot of the heads-up match with a 9-8-7-6-3. Martin mucked his cards on the hand. Amit grew his stack to $1,100,000 after the hand. This gave him a better than 2-to-1 chip advantage over Martin’s $420,000.
Table Chatter
Rafi Amit and Lenny Martin have partaken in some of the most entertaining final table conversing of the Series. Their musings have ranged from how Amit’s stack is doing in the pot-limit Omaha event, to Martin attempting to guilt-trip Amit into dumping him the bracelet. Martin’s most interesting attempt at this was to reference the number of media employee’s that had to work into the night to cover the final table as pressure to end things quickly. Amit laughed that one off and then began chatting with the tournament director between hands.
Martin Doubled Up
Lenny Martin raised to $80,000 after the second drawing round and Rafi Amit raised to $160,000. Martin made the all-in call for his last $150,000. Amit stood pat on the third drawing round, while Martin drew one last card. He received it and flipped up 8-7-6-5-2. Amit turned up J-6-4-3-2 and Martin doubled up. He now had $520,000 to Amit’s cool million.
Rafi Strikes Again
Rafi Amit picked up another moderate-sized pot when he showed down 9-7-6-5-2, after a flurry of betting during the drawing rounds. Martin mucked his hand and was once again dangerously low in chips.
Martin’s Daily Double
Lenny Martin was all in once again. This time, he pushed his last $70,000 in the middle after the second drawing round to call an $80,000 raise from Rafi Amit. Martin then drew one last card, while Amit stood pat. Martin then flipped over 8-7-6-4-2, and Amit showed 9-7-6-5-3. Martin doubled up again as he continued to dance all over the line of survival.
“All you need is Love”
Lenny Martin had now started singing “All you need is love” for a couple of riffs of the famous Beatles song, in reference to the words that adorn Rafi Amit’s shirt.
Rafi Amit was all in against Lenny Martin and Martin revealed 8-5-4-3-2. Amit then turned over 8-5-4-3-2 and survived the hand by picking up the chopped pot.
Anthony Lellouche Eliminated in Third Place ($84,612)
Rafi Amit raised and Anthony Lellouche reraised all in. Amit then drew one card on every single drawing round. Lellouche drew two cards on rounds one and two, and a single card on the third round. Amit then turned up an 8-7-6-4-3, while Lellouche held a Q-6-5-4-2. Lellouche was eliminated in third place, and he will take home $84,612 in prize money.

Break in the Action
There was another 15-minute break in the action, during which Rafi ran over to play a round of pot-limit Omaha through his big blind.
Anthony Lellouche was on the short stack after the elimination of Eugene Ji. He then tripled up to survive, and a few hands later he doubled up to put him back in the ball game. On the double-up hand he showed a seven-low to defeat the nine-low of Jon Shoremen. Shoreman was the new low stack after the hand with $175,000. Lellouche now held $375,000.
Jon Shoreman Eliminated in Fourth Place ($57,383)
Jon Shoreman was now all in for his tournament life in a pot against Lenny Martin. Shoreman was all in before the first drawing round where he took two cards. Martin also drew two, and he did the same on the second round. Shoreman drew one card on the second round. Both players drew one card on the last round and then Martin showed an 8-6 low. Shoreman turned over an 8-7 low and he was eliminated from the tournament in fourth place. Shoreman took home $57,383 in prize money.

Poker Face
Rafi Amit was all in on one hand and Lenny Martin went into the tank. For someone who was all in at that point, Amit had a constant smirk across his face. It may have induced Martin to call. Amit turned up an eight-low to survive, while Martin could only muster an ace-low.
Break Time
The players then went on a 15 minute break, and Amit ran over to the $10,000 pot-limit Omaha world championship to play a few hands, in between his quest for a second bracelet at this triple draw event.
Break Add-On
The players have decided to add an additional 20 minutes to their current break.
Just a few hands into the action Mark Bartlog moved all in, and both Anthony Lellouche and Lenny Martin had him covered. Martin flipped over a jack-low and both players mucked their hands. Bartlog was eliminated in sixth place and he took home $27,068 in prize money.
Eugene Ji Eliminated in Fifth Place ($41,504)
Eugene Ji was all in and both Anthony Lellouche and Lenny Martin had their opponent covered once again. In this pot Lellouche bet Martin off his hand in round three. Lellouche then flipped up a nine-low to defeat the 10-low of Ji. Ji was eliminated in fifth place and he took home $41,504 in prize money.
