Updates on Final Day (Feb 25, 05)

Dennis Waterman gets his walking papes

Dennis, short stack nearly the entire day, has managed to stay in the hunt by tossing in a few small all-in bets and scooping up blinds and antes. However, when he goes all-in for his last $65,000 with A-Qh, Daniel Negreanu call with J-J. The flop is K-7-3 and the turn brings an 8 of hearts. Now, with only six outs, Dennis knows this might be it and when the river brings a 7 the table is finally trimed to three players.

Asher Derei knocked out

Asher moves all in for $137,000 and Chris raises it up another $200,000. Asher has A-J and faces Chris with his 10-10. The flop is no help to Asher's, Q-7-5. The turn is a 8.
