Nikolay Losev Wins Event #25

Nikolay Losev moved all-in pre flop and was called by Mazhar Nawab. Losev showed A 4 while Nawab held the J 7. The board came down K Q 8 A 9 which was no help to Nawab.

Mazhar Nawab finishes in second place and earns $67,590.

Nikolay Losev wins Event #25 and $125,530, a WPT Championship seat, and the gold bracelet.

Matthew Williams Eliminated In 3rd Place ($34,135)

Matthew Williams raised from the buttona nd was called by Nikolay Losev out of the big blind. The flop came down 6 3 2 and Losev bet out for $25,000. Williams moved all-in for his remaining $100,000 and Losev quickly called. Williams showed K T for a king high flush draw. Losev was in commanding lead having flopped a flush with Q 9. The turn was a 7 and the river an A giving the large pot to Losev.

Players are now playing with blinds of $3,000/$6,000 with a $1,000 ante.

Ronald Kirk Eliminated In 4th Place ($18,925)

Ronald Kirk made a small raise under the gun and was called by Nikolay Losev out of the big blind. The flop came down K 8 5 and Losev checked. Kirk bet out $20,000 and Losev moved all-in. Kirk made a quick call and showed K Q which was behind the two pair of Losev who held 8 5. The A fell on the turn giving Kirk the heart draw to go along with his pair. The river however, was no help to Kirk when it came a J. Nikolay Losev is now the commanding chip leader.

Stan Jablonski Eliminated In 5th Place ($14,870)

Stan Jablonski moved all-in from late position and was called by Ronald Kirk out of the small blind. Jablonski turned over A J but was in bad shape against the A Q held by Kirk. The board came out Q 9 3 6 5 which was no help to Jablonski who was eliminated in 5th place.
 

Jacobo Fernandez Eliminated In 6th Place ($12,165)

Jacobo Fernandez moved all-in preflop and was called by Mazhar Nawab. Fernandez showed 8 4 and was way behind the K K held by Nawab. The board came out J 8 2 6 Q which was not enough for Fernandez sho finished in 6th place.
 

Ronald Kirk Wins Big Pot

Action folded around to Ronald Kirk in the small blind who made a small raise. He was called by Jacob Fernandez and the two saw  flop of K 8 3. Kirk checked and Fernandez bet out $11,000. Kirk made the call and the turn came down an A. This time Kirk bet out $20,000 and Fernandez took some time before making the call. On the river the two players saw a 4. Kirk bet out $40,000 and Fernandez went into the tank. After about two minutes of pondering Fernandez made the call. Kirk showed A 3 for two pair and Fernandez flashed the K before muking his hand.

Ronald Kirk is starting to ramp up his aggression and so far it is working out well for him.
 

Per Ummer Eliminated In 7th Place ($9,460)

Action folded around to Ronld Kirk on the button and he moved all-in. Per Ummer made the call from the big blind and showed A K. Kirk turned over 8 8 for the slight lead and to the flop we went. The board came down 7 5 5 3 3 giving the pot to Kirk and eliminating Ummer in 7th.
