Erik Seidel Wins Event #9 ($2,000 No-Limit Hold'em)

Erik Seidel wins Event #9 ($2,000 No-Limit Hold'em), earning $611,795 and his seventh World Series of Poker bracelet. Cyndy Violette finishes in second place, earning $295,970.

After the victory, Erik Seidel is congratulated by friends and family, and fellow Full Tilter Andy Bloch gives him the shirt off his back -- a personalized Full Tilt jersey that says "Bloch." Why give him this jersey? Because it's the number 7, which Bloch says should belong to Seidel now, to represent his seventh World Series of Poker bracelet.

Erik Seidel Wins Event #9 ($2,000 No-Limit Hold'em)

Hand 170 - Seidel has the button, he raises to $85,000, Violette reraises all in for $700,000, and after some deliberation, Seidel calls. Seidel shows pocket eights (8s-8h), but Violette has him dominated with pocket nines (9s-9h). The flop comes 8c-5c-5h, and Seidel has flopped a full house. Violette is in trouble, and now needs to catch a nine (or running fives) to stay alive. The turn card is the Ad, and Violette is down to two outs. The river card is the 5s, and Cyndy Violette is eliminated in second place, earning $295,970.
