Chiu limps from the small blind, Salzer raises to $30,000 from the big blind, and Chiu calls. The flop comes Qd-Jc-9s, Salzer checks, Chiu bets $15,000, and Salzer calls. The turn card is the 4c, Salzer checks, Chiu bets $30,000, and Salzer calls. The river card is the 7c, Salzer checks, Chiu bets $30,000, and Salzer calls all in with his last $15,000. As soon as he makes the call, Chiu reacts in triumph, knowing he has just won his fourth bracelet.

After a flop of 7h-6c-2c, David Chiu and Russel Salzer bet the whole way down until the board reads 7h-6c-2c-Qh-4d. Chiu bets on the river, and Salzer is clearly not happy with the river card, but he calls the bet for the huge pot. Chiu shows 8-5-3-x, giving him an eight-high straight and a six-high for the low. Salzer mucks his cards, looking like he had just been rivered.

Russel Salzer has hit a dry spell, not winning a pot in a while.
