As one of the busiest poker rooms in the world, the Gardens Casino continues to make its mark in Southern California and beyond as the premier venue for poker tournaments and round-the-clock cash games. Known by many as the friendliest casino, a culture of superior customer service is evident everywhere you look.
The impressive 200,000-square foot casino with its sleek, resort style atmosphere promises to excite. From the grand front entrance to the spacious gaming floors, bars, and restaurants, every inch of the casino has been designed with customer comfort and enjoyment in mind. The 154,000-square foot first floor includes California gaming featuring blackjack poker, EZ Baccarat, Pai Gow, Three-Card Poker, and Ultimate Texas Hold’em, while the poker floor offers more than 100 tables with a separate, 39-table VIP poker section. A state-of–the-art curved NanoLumens display above the VIP entrance together with over 220 screens ensures that players never miss a sporting event while playing at The Gardens. The Gardens app, available now on your smart phone, makes it easy to view current games and to sign up for your favorite game before you arrive! A text message then alerts you as soon as your seat is ready.
The second floor of the casino with more than 48,000 square feet is accessed via a grand stairway which leads to an event center that offers banquet and tournament space for 750 tournament players. The event center regularly hosts concerts, boxing/MMA, fashion shows, and many other special events throughout the year.
At the heart of it all is a premium casual upscale Triple 7 Sports Bar & Grill offering a variety of ethnic cuisine, handcrafted cocktails, premium wines and California craft beers on tap. And every Friday night the 999 Party Pit comes alive with live DJ sets, full bar, and gaming offered in a sophisticated, nightclub atmosphere.
As best put by Gardens General Manager Ron Sarabi, “At the Gardens Casino, we provide each individual with a personal experience. With all the technology we have to offer, our ultimate and continued success has been driven by our customer service. We are the best play in LA because we consider each customer as a family member who deserves nothing but the best service.”
For players who enjoy tournament action, the World Poker Tour has announced that the Gardens Casino will be WPT season XVIII’s first stop. For the second consecutive year, the WPT kicks off its new season at the Gardens Casino with the WPT Gardens Poker Festival, beginning July 12. The WPT Gardens Poker Festival main event, from July 20-25, offers a $5,000 buy-in and Gardens is even kicking in a brand-new BMW X1 to the winner.
“We’re expecting the upcoming WPT Gardens Poker Festival to be the best one yet”, said Tournament Manager Cavin Quintanilla. “With the prize pool for our daily tournaments totaling over $700,000 a month and growing, it would be no surprise to see our numbers grow with every major poker event.”
“The WPT and the Gardens Casino have been partners since season XVI and it’s a relationship that we are deeply proud of,” states Angelica Hael, Vice President of Global Tour Management for WPT. “As an official WPT tournament room, Gardens has sent 21 players to various WPT tour stops in this season alone and we look forward to their continued support and partnership for many years to come”.
The Gardens also hosts a WPT $10,000 buy-in televised main event annually and has opened major events to local players, through its “WPT Satellite Spectacular” where recreational players earn WPT points for tournaments played at the Gardens Casino. The Gardens has sent players to the Bellagio Five Diamond in Las Vegas, Choctaw Resort and Casino in Durant, and has plans to award WPT Passports to future events.
