The seventh edition of the Super High Roller Bowl comes to the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the beginning of October. Immediately following the 2022 Poker Masters series, the $300,000 buy-in Super High Roller Bowl VII starts Oct. 5 and finishes on Oct. 7.

The ultra high-stakes tournament will feature the game’s best across three highly competitive days of play, and it will be live streamed on PokerGO for the global poker audience. Since its inception in 2015, the Super High Roller Bowl champion has walked away with multiple millions of dollars in prize money.

Brian Rast was the inaugural winner, taking home $7,525,000 and the event’s largest prize ever. It was also the only time the event was held with a $500,000 buy-in. Every edition since, the Super High Roller Bowl’s buy-in has been $300,000. In addition to Rast, past champions include Germans Rainer Kempe and Christoph Vogelsang, Americans Justin Bonomo and Isaac Haxton, and Australian Michael Addamo.

Addamo is the most recent Super High Roller Bowl winner, taking home $3,402,000 in 2021. Incredibly, Addamo’s final opponent in this event was none other than three-time Super High Roller Bowl event winner Justin Bonomo, who has two online SHRB titles in addition to his win in 2018.

Bonomo had beat Addamo heads-up to win the 2020 SHRB Online. This time around Addamo was able to get some revenge and secure his first SHRB ring.

“I’d say I’m a very competitive person, so I was definitely trying my best and battling hard,” said Addamo when asked about the rematch with Bonomo.

Finishing third behind Addamo and Bonomo was recent U.S. Poker Open champion Sean Winter who took home $1,008,000, while Bonomo collected $1,890,000 to take his lifetime Super High Roller Bowl winnings to more than $14 million. Including the online versions of the event, Bonomo has now cashed in six of the 13 events ever held.

Watch each day of Super High Roller Bowl VII exclusively on PokerGO.com from Oct. 5-7, 2022.
