Venetian Kicks Off 2025 With Back-To-Back Major Tournament Series

Prizes ranging from $100 to $10,000 are awarded twice an hour from 10 a.m. until 2 a.m. Night owls, take note—prizes from $100 to $1,000 will keep the action alive every half hour from 2 a.m. until 10 a.m.
Tournament players will also get their fill with the DeepStack Showdown, running from Jan. 13 to Feb. 2, with nearly $1 million in guaranteed prize pools. Tournament buy-ins start at just $200, and the series is highlighted by three Ultimate Stack events: a $200,000 guaranteed $800 buy-in, a $150,000 guaranteed $600 buy-in, and a $100,000 guaranteed $400 buy-in. The schedule also includes bounty tournaments, Big O, and a seniors event.

The Newest, And Biggest Poker Room In Las Vegas
The Venetian Resort Las Vegas opened its new poker room in August, unveiling a fresh space on the second floor of the Grand Canal Shoppes at Palazzo.
Boasting 14,000 sq. ft. with room for 51 tables, the poker room is the largest on the Las Vegas Strip, and the new location now offers much more convenient access to numerous dining options and the parking garage.
The new room offers players complimentary self-serve coffee and soda, USB and USB-C charging ports at every seat, tableside restaurant ordering, and free parking for anyone who plays more than three hours. There are numerous TVs throughout the venue, a sports betting kiosk, and a dedicated restroom.
The Venetian will also begin operating a live streaming room dedicated to filming vlogging sessions, big cash games, and tournament final tables.
Players are reporting that they are happy with the quieter atmosphere, no longer having to deal with loud slot machines ringing nearby. Others have mentioned the air quality, as smoking is prohibited in the Grand Canal Shoppes.
