Eli Elezra got a much needed win in Match 13 of the Poker Superstars Invitational 3 tournament that's shown on FSN every Sunday evening. He came out on top of a table made of Carlos Mortensen, Gus Hansen, Erick Lindgren, Mike Matusow and Phil Hellmuth.

Elezra brought only nine points into his fourth match and without this victory, which was worth 10 points, he would've been in danger of missing the cut to the next round. Now, he's firmly implanted in sixth place with one match to go.

Earning seven points for second was Matusow, who now has 17 points after earning zero the first two matches he played in for coming in last.

Lindgren finished third, which gave him five points and sole possession of the number one spot on the leaderboard with 27. He passed his friend Daniel Negreanu, whose fourth match will be shown next Sunday.

Mortensen added three points to the 13 he brought into the match, and depending on how the other fourth-round matches play out, is still in danger of not being among the 16 players to advance.

Hellmuth was eliminated in fifth. Viewers got to see a classic Hellmuth shimmer about halfway into the show. He stood up, asked himself what was going on, and paced the floor before taking his seat with a smile. Because of the smile -- and the fact that Hellmuth has plenty of points to advance -- co-host Howard Lederer said he didn't believe the mild outburst was genuine.

And Hansen was the first player eliminated, earning zero points. A win in his last match will most certainly get Hansen into the next round and the pressure's clearly on him to perform well.

Next week, Negreanu, Mimi Tran, Phil Ivey, Chris Moneymaker, Mike Sexton and Barry Greenstein square off. PSIT 3 is shown on FSN every Sunday at 8 p.m. local time. Click here to visit CardPlayer.com's complete Internet coverage of the event.
