Swiss Player Takes Down €426,425 in France

Sam El Sayed courtesy of Party PokerSam El Sayed, a Swiss-based Lebanese poker pro, topped the 542-strong field in Amneville, France to lift the PartyPoker.fr World Poker Tour title and €426,425 first prize at the weekend.

Sayed started the final table of the €3,500 buy in main event as chip leader and made his advantage pay.

Heads up he raised Franck Pepe to 800,000 from the buton. Pepe called and the fop fell 10Heart Suit 6Spade Suit 4Diamond Suit. Pepe checked then called a 800,000 bet. The turn fell JClub Suit, Pepe checked and El Sayed bet fired 2 million.

Pepe moved all-in with KDiamond Suit 10Diamond Suit and was called by El Sayed who held KHeart Suit KClub Suit which held up as the river fell the JSpade Suit.
