Check out his interview with Diego Cordovez and Adam Schoenfeld on Card Player TV, and you can hear Oppenheim talk about how live high-stakes poker has gotten tougher over the years.
He also dives into his online play and how it is different than sitting at the real poker table. He briefly explains how you can pick up on some online tells.
In addition, he talks about his first start at poker education.
“The way I learned, when I first started, was by watching the good players,” Oppenheim said. “I would pick one or two of the better players at whatever that level was and pay close attention.”
The end of the episode focuses on some of his poker friendships, which includes one with Phil Ivey.
“I think he is probably about as close to perfect as you can get at the poker table,” Oppenheim said.
