The Mediterranean Poker Cup main event begins in Cyprus today.
The three-day $2,500 buy-in no-limit hold’em main event has a guaranteed prize pool of $400,000 and is the culmination of a week-long festival on the Mediterranean island which included two $1,100 buy-in events and a which will see a $5,300 VIP event tomorrow.
Following the Mediterranean Poker Cup, the organisers look forward to the Red Sea Poker Cup 2010. This will run from Dec. 11 to 16 in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt and features a €1,100 buy-in main event and a €3,300 buy-in VIP event.
